The site-specific project carried out by Susana Solano and Simon Callery at Santa María de Bujedo can be visited during the summer

#SAVETHEDATE

We are pleased to announce that the intervention project carried out by the sculptress Susana Solano and the British artist Simon Callery in the Church of the Cistercian Monastery of Santa María de Bujedo can be visited during the summer.

This project, which was inaugurated last June 4th, coinciding with the visit of the Encuentros COLECCIONA to the Santa María de Bujedo Monastery, consists of two of the so-called flat-paintings by the British artist, together with an ephemeral installation by the sculptor Susana Solano that has been made for the occasion. The works of both artists dialogue with the immeasurable artistic beauty of the church of this Cistercian monastery, dating from between the late twelfth and early thirteenth centuries. It is a unique opportunity to approach the work of both artists, in a unique and singular environment.

To organize your visit, you must take into account that it is not necessary to make a reservation in advance.
The opening hours are from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. every Sunday, until September 18th.
